– Varsity is the only Spring Break trip
– Jackie Robinson Training Complex – Vero Beach, FL
– 5 games

Jan/Feb Winter Training – new location (Front Range Baseball, Larkspur)
– 3 days a week – 90 minutes (Mon/Wed/Fri)
– 2 sessions (early / late)
– Pitchers Catchers will be Tues/Thurs
Being sensitive about arm health
– Drills in place to help continue batting average progression

New Coach – Dave ONeil from Highlands Ranch (Varsity asst. last year)

Coaches
– Looking for three new coaches to replace outgoing
– Will stay away from Parent/Coach
– Head coach at every level, just filling assistants

FCA – Team Culture this Spring
– Brining in Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
– All team huddles meet on Fridays during Club time
– Football had special dinners with speakers
– Looking to do similar with Baseball (All optional)
– First meeting will be at Lori's house the week of Jan 18th
– Looking for guest speaker

Team Bonding
– Bowling – Wed, Dec 28 at Bowlero (details below)
– Lunch or early afternoon – $21 includes lunch, bowling laser tag, arcade discount
– Volunteer opportunity being looked into
– Hockey scheduled TBD for future events
– 4-6 events to be scheduled prior to start of season

 

Bowlero Details:
As mentioned in the CV Baseball Program meeting on Monday, our first team-building event
is scheduled for Wednesday December 28.

Time: TBD depending on venue availability with i# participants but shooting for lunchtime /
early afternoon

Cost: $20.99

Included:
1 1/2 hours of bowling and free shoe rental Cheese pizza Unlimited Soda

$5 gift card to take home and use on a future visit

On Wednesdays, Bowlero also offers $9.99 unlimited laser tag (this will be a personal add-

Summer baseball
– 2 local teams (regional) – 15U and 16/17U
– Coach Abe and Scott will facilitate older teams out of Front Range Baseball (Scott Allen)
– Winter training at FRB – 16U and 18U
– Continuing to grow that program (18U playing in Boston, Kansas, and Air Force
Academy)
– All else local
-League in Summer through American Legion
– Concept is to have as many play together as they can
– Provide playing opportunities for the players
– Still trying to be competitive but participate
– Put in the work to get better every day and win a trophy
